Writing Assistant
The Writing Assistant adds AI-powered editing tools to Richtext fields in the Studio. Use it to draft content from a brief, fix grammar, simplify language, summarize text, rewrite in a different tone, or translate to another locale.
AI usage is billed in AI credits per project. Your plan includes a monthly credit allowance; additional usage may incur overages depending on your plan.
Availability
Section titled “Availability”The Writing Assistant is available when:
- The field is a Richtext field.
- AI is enabled for your project (Settings → Plan & Billing).
- Your project has AI credits available (Settings → Usage).

Most tools work on selected text or on the whole field when your cursor is placed inside it. Compose works on empty fields to generate content from a brief.

For Translate, pick the target locale from your project’s configured locales.

- Use Compose when starting from scratch rather than trying to rewrite empty content.
- Proofread and simplify work best on finished drafts; translate works on any selected text or the whole field.
